A Celebration of Summer

The Wind Orchestra anticipates summertime with a concert full of music for dancing and music for relaxing. Our final program of the season includes the masterpiece Rocky Point Holiday by Ron Nelson and Malcolm Arnold’s English Dances, along with David Maslanka’s moving Give Us This Day and Frank Ticheli’s Rest. Herbert Clark’s Cousins features principal trumpet Ken Walters and principal trombone John Monroe, and the celebration continues with Frank Perkin’s Fandango, and Karl King’s circus galop, The Big Cage.
