Bar Harbor Brass Week announces audition deadlines for its College program.  All College Student Application must be submitted by February 20, 2013

Bar Harbor Brass Week is an intensive educational and performance experience for select college and high school brass musicians, presented by the Mark Woolman Horner Music Education Fund.

BHBW takes place June 23 - 30, 2013 on the campus of the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine. One of the East Coast's most popular summer tourist destinations, Bar Harbor lies adjacent to Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island.

BHBW offers a unique opportunity: FREE TUITION to college particpants.

Faculty include members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, and faculty members from the University of Michigan School of Music, and the Eastman School of Music.  Trumpet faculty include: Doug Prosser of the Rochester Philharmonic and Eastman School of Music; Wayne du Maine of Manhattan Brass, Met Opera Orchestra, and Brooklyn Philharmonic; Dr. Jack Burt of the University of Maine.
