The Mission Peak Brass Band in Concert

The Mission Peak Brass Band, under the direction of Tony Clements, presents its final concert of the season on Friday, May 4th at 8:00 p.m. The performance will take place in the Smith Center, Ohlone College, in Fremont. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $8 for youth under 12, and $10 for seniors and Ohlone students and staff, plus $2 Ohlone College parking fee per vehicle. The concert includes a wide variety of music, including New York, New York, Lil’ Darlin, Land of the Mountain and the Flood, Jubilee Overture, and A Touch of Mancini, a medley of Henry Mancini favorites including Peter Gunn featured in the The Blues Brothers movie. Rob Lenicheck is our featured soloist, playing Summertime on soprano cornet.

MPBB is a 30-piece brass and percussion ensemble formed in the tradition of a brass band, which has a very unique, rich sound. The group is made up of talented volunteer musicians from all over the Bay Area and is associated with Ohlone College in Fremont.
