The Gemstone press release tells us that this collaboration brings together the best of American design with German engineering. Walter Nirschl is well known for his Meister Walter Nirschl line of tubas and euphoniums that are a familiar instrument in many professional symphony orchestras today. The W. Nirschl line showcases Meister Nirschl’s expertise in the full brass line from trumpets and trombones to big brass.

Based in Geretsried (Bavaria, Germany), Walter Nirschl comes from a family with a rich tradition of musical instrument building.
