Kanstul Musical Instruments has announced that they have built bugles for the United States Marine "Commandant’s Own" Drum & Bugle Corps. These are two-valve bugles in the key of G, and the instrumentation includes soprano bugles, mellophones, baritone bugles and contrabass bugles. This is the third such set of custom bugles for the Marines by Kanstul.

The United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps was formed in 1934, at the historic Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C., to augment the United States Marine Band. The Drum and Bugle Corps performs martial and popular music for hundreds of thousands of spectators each year, and travels more than 50,000 miles annually, performing in excess of 400 events across the USA and worldwide.
