The Third Alençon European Young Trumpeters Competition is to be held on 26th, 27th and 28th November in Alençon, Normandy, France. The competition is chaired by French virtuoso Pierre Dutot and the panel includes other distinguished trumpet players as well as a composer and the Director of the Alençon National Music School.

The closing date indicated by the leaflet is 1st November, "as evidenced by the postmark". (As there is an entry form to be filled in and a documentation and fee requirement to be met, entrants are advised to contact the organizers well in advance [Ed]).
