John Coulton recital in Millimerran
On the 15th of September 2012, John Coulton travelled to South West Queensland to perform a trumpet and piano recital for the Arts Council in Millmerran.
He was joined on the piano by Lance Clarke. The concert was performed to a packed, standing-room-only audience at the Millmerran Cultural Centre. Music for the concert included Joseph Turrin’s Caprice, Telemann’s Suite in D major performed on baroque trumpet, the Clarke Suite in D Major, Mendez’s La Virgin de la Macarena, James Burke’s The Magic Trumpet, John Stanley’s Trumpet Tune, Dizzy Gillespie’s Lights and Shadows and Hollywood and Vine, and Zequina Arbreu’s Tico Tico.
