The 8th Annual Bert Truax Trumpet Camp will take place in Dallas, Texas June 16-21, 2014.

Guest faculty members include jazz great Marvin Stamm, Hollywood recording artist, Jon Lewis, and Principal Trumpet of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Ryan Anthony.

The camp features master classes, faculty recitals, student trumpet ensembles, and the ever popular concert series that highlights world class trumpet performances.

Camp host, Bert Truax, member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Dallas Symphony Orchestra (retired) will present a daily session on warm-up and trumpet fundamentals based on the teachings of James Stamp. Truax was a long-time student of Stamp and has presented master classes on Stamp’s teachings across the country. Players of all ages are welcome.
