10th INTERNATIONAL COMPOSITION COMPETITION “ROMUALDO MARENCO” FOR COMPOSITION FOR BAND.  An entrance fee of 70 Euro is required, and there is one prize of 5000 Euro to the winner.  The deadline for application is 31th July, 2012.  ?The objective of the Competition is the composition of an original work for band music of the length of no less than 10 (ten) minutes and however not more than 20 (twenty) minutes, unpublished and never played in a public concert, either broadcasted by radio or television or won prizes or received mentions
in other competitions. The Competition is open to composers of any nationality without age limit who never won the prize in the last three editions of the same competition (editions 2009-2010-2011). Competitors can take part to the competition only with one composition.
Compositions can be of any tendency, kind or form of music, as long as it complies with the instrumentation for Symphonic Band.
