Festival of Trumpets Deadline Approaching

The deadline to apply to perform in the 2020 ITG Conference Festival of Trumpets concert is coming up soon: January 15, 2020.

As introduced at the 2019 Conference, we are again encouraging participants to pre-organize their own trumpet ensembles. Ensembles will have two on-site rehearsals in addition to their performance slot on the Festival of Trumpets concert. Some ideas for forming an ensemble include: trumpet professors from a certain region, alumni from a specific teacher/school, Baroque trumpet ensemble, a group of friends, etc.

New for the 2020 Festival of Trumpets is the option for ensembles to perform multiple pieces in their given slot on the concert.

Adult non-professional and comeback trumpet players are encouraged to participate.

Festival of Trumpets ensemble rehearsals will take place throughout the week. Please make arrangements to be available for the full Conference should you wish to perform in the Festival of Trumpets.
