October 1, 2016 -  Mississippi State University Brass Symposium, with all events held at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi (USA). The event will feature master classes and a shared recital by two brass pedagogues/performers: Mr. James Ackley of the University of South Carolina, and Mr. Jay Evans, principal trombone of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and low brass instructor at the University of Montevallo, AL. High school, middle school, community college and university students will receive instruction and attend performances by the guest artists.
