University of Northern Iowa hosts Mark Baldin, Ashley Hall, and Frank Campos

In September 2013, the trumpet studio led by Dr. Randy Grabowski at the University of Northern Iowa hosted Mark Baldin, Ashley Hall, and Frank Campos.
 
On September 13, 2013, Rockford Symphony principal trumpet Mark Baldin and pianist Jon Warfel performed an ambitious and lengthy recital program at the University of Northern Iowa. Their program featured works by James Stephenson, Jan Bach, Mark Lathan, William Perry, John Hartmann and others.
 
On September 18, 2013, trumpet artist Ashley Hall and pianist Horacio Nuguid presented a program of work by Thorvald Hansen, Theo Charlier, Jules Levy, George Enescu, Moses Hogan, and Eric Ewazen at the University of Northern Iowa.
 
Trumpet artist Frank Campos from Ithaca College came to the University of Northern Iowa on September 20, 2013. Campos attended the UNI trumpet class and worked with four of the trumpeters in a masterclass. Following the Trumpet Class, Campos talked to a group of students from the combined brass studios about brass pedagogy.
 
In the evening, Campos presented his solo recital program entitled "Art of the Single Line," a program of works from a variety of genres. From Bach to pop and celtic to jazz, Campos performed the entire unaccompanied program, complete with background and information about the works.
 
All performers were hosted by Dr. Randy Grabowski and the trumpet studio at UNI.
