Position: Graduate Assistantship in Trumpet, 2020-2021
A limited number of tuition waivers and assistantships are awarded by the NIU School of Music to outstanding candidates who are pursuing the Master of Music degree or Graduate Performer’s Certificate in Trumpet

Duties: Perform in School of Music ensembles and assist with the Trumpet Studio and School of Music administrative duties as assigned.

Stipend: Full Tuition Waiver plus stipend determined by candidate’s audition and qualifications.

Application/Audition Deadline: July 15, 2020. Graduate assistantships positions remain open until filled. 

Incoming NIU Assistant Professor of Trumpet, Dr. Chris Scanlon has performed with orchestras and chamber ensembles at renowned concert halls and venues across Europe, Asia, The Middle East, Canada, Mexico and the United States.
