The Peabody Trumpet Studio prepares students for the demands and reality of today’s music world.

Faculty artists William Gerlach and Anthony Prisk — each an acclaimed performer in his own right — team-teach the studio, affording students the opportunity to learn from three master teachers.

Ensemble performance opportunities on campus include: the Peabody Symphony and Concert Orchestras; Wind Ensemble; Conductors’ Orchestra; Now Hear This; Brass and Trumpet ensembles; Brass chamber groups; Jazz Ensemble and combos; and Historical Performance ensembles. Peabody also offers easy access to two major metropolitan music scenes and orchestras, including the Baltimore and National Symphony Orchestras and all the premiere military bands.
