1999-2001 ITG Officers and New Board Members

The 1999-2001 International Trumpet Guild officers are as follows:

President - James Olcott, professor of trumpet at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and owner of Triplo Press.
Vice President (President Elect) - Vincent DiMartino holds the Endowed Chair for the Matton Professor of Music at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
Secretary - Jeffrey Piper, professor of trumpet at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Treasurer (appointed) - David Jones has over 20 years experience in finance and administration and will be serving a second term as ITG treasurer.
Past President - Kim Dunnick, professor of trumpet at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.

Board of Directors

Six newly elected board members will serve a four-year term (1999-2003):

Frank Campos, professor of trumpet at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.
Stephen Chenette, professor of trumpet at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario.
Joyce Davis, professor of trumpet at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Jon Faddis, jazz trumpet artist, New York
William Pfund, professor of trumpet at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Alan Siebert, associate professor of trumpet at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Continuing board members

Mike Anderson, Leonard Candelaria, Timofei Dokshizer (life member), Laurie Frink, Amy Gilreath, Bryan Goff, Frank Kaderabek, Anatoly Selianin, and Arthur Vanderhoeft. The two board seats appointed by President Dunnick for the 1999-2003 terms are Nailson Simões, Brazil, and John Wallace, Royal Conservatory of Music, London.

New Publications Editor Michael Caldwell was also appointed to the board following his acceptance of the editorial position in May.
