PSU trumpet students with guest artist Raymond Crisara

The trumpet studio at Pittsburg State University in southeast Kansas recently hosted numerous guest trumpet artists from around the USA. Guest artists included Allen Vizzutti, Vince DiMartino, Thomas Cupples, and Raymond Crisara. The PSU Trumpet Ensemble was also chosen to compete at the National Trumpet Competition and invited to perform for the "Orchestral Audition Roundtable” at the 2007 International Trumpet Guild Conference. The ensemble presented world premieres of two new commissions for trumpet ensemble: For Five by PSU composer John Ross, and Fanfare Festoso by Allen Vizzutti.
