The Synergy Brass Quintet made their Mexican debut at the Festival de Camara in Aguascalientes, Mexico this summer.  Synergy performed a sold-out concert as part of the festival and gave a masterclass the following day. Synergy trumpeter Bobby Thorp stayed on for the rest of the Festival as brass faculty.

This August, the Synergy Brass Quintet joined the Boston Pops as special guests, along with Natalie Cole, to perform a concert on Jetties Beach in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The groups played to over 8,000 patrons and fans as a fund-raising event to benefit the Nantucket Cottage Hospital. The Pops opened the concert with selections from their most recent CD release. According to the Nantucket Independent "Synergy Brass Quintet opened the second act with energized flair." Then the night was passed over to Natalie Cole. The evening was capped with a spectacular fireworks display.

The Synergy Brass Quintet performed two events this summer for the Massachusetts-based Tanglewood Music Festival's Days in the Arts program (DARTS), a program involving 400 students from communities throughout Massachusetts. Synergy's relationship with Tanglewood began in 2004 and has flourished over the years. DARTS is one of the highlights of the summer!
