On June 20, 2007, the Allentown Band was invited to play a concert in Carnegie Hall in New York City. They asked Frank Kaderabek, former principal trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra (retired), to perform a solo with the band. Kaderabek performed John Hartmann's Facilita: Air with Variations for the appreciative crowd, which rewarded him with a standing ovation at the end of the performance.
