Kevin David Lawson, 42, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007. In addition to playing trumpet for numerous musical acts in Chicago, Branson and Las Vegas, Kevin was also a band teacher at Von Tobel Middle School. Most recently, while in Las Vegas, he performed with The Rat Pack is Back at the Greek Isle, Zowie Bowie at Red Rock and with The Lon Bronson Band. He attended both Northern Illinois and DePaul Universities and left a legacy of friends, students and colleagues.
