Participants from all across Spain joined Edward Carroll for a two-day masterclass on May 12 and 13, 2007, organized by the "Asociacion de Trompetistas Profesionale" (Association of Professional Trumpet Players) at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragon in Zaragoza, Spain. Carroll is Professor at McGill University, Montreal, and CalArts, Los Angeles; and director of the Chosen Vale International Trumpet Seminar.

Fifteen participants, including students, teachers, and professionals, played pieces by Telemman, Torelli, Honegger, Hummel, Arban, and from the standard orchestral repertoire.

The masterclass was a real success and the members of the association hope to see Edward Carroll, who was named an "honorary member", again in the near future!
