Three recent press releases from Conn-Selmer cover these topics:

New marketing director

Jeff Christiana has been named Director, Marketing – Trumpets/Trombones. Christiana, a trumpet-playing alumnus of Indiana University School of Music, Bloomington, has been with Conn-Selmer since 1995.

Bach Stradivarius model 182

This trumpet, which Conn-Selmer tells us is the result of intensive efforts to identify the unmet needs of professional trumpet players, features a standard weight #37 one piece bell and #25 leadpipe, a lightweight body and a .459” bore.

King “Ultimate” Marching Brass

Seven leading drum corps from DCI and one corps from Drum Corps Europe have chosen the King “Ultimate” Marching Brass from Conn-Selmer as their exclusive brass line. The model 1117 trumpet delivers a “powerhouse sound” through its dynamically angled bell, and Conn-Selmer go on to point out that strategic bracing makes this horn perfect for high-energy maneuvers.
