Dawsons Music’s "Bold As Brass" event at the Cinnamon Club in Altrincham, near Manchester, England, was a resounding success. This November, 2006 day of workshops, clinics, rehearsals and master classes for brass players saw the likes of the legendary Allen Vizzutti, Bryan Corbett and the BBC Philharmonic section inspiring brass players (both young and old) to work on their playing.

Representatives from Dawsons, Yamaha, Taylor Trumpets, Edwards Trombones, Mirage and Music Exchange were also on-hand to staff the trade stalls where brass enthusiasts could get their hands on a real bargain. Organiser Peter Pollard from Dawsons Music in Manchester was delighted with the way the day went. “I am very grateful to all the manufacturers and the fantastic artists who helped make this possible. I have had so many phone calls and emails from people who came, simply thanking us for putting this event on, that I’ve already started making plans for next year!”
