Vancouver-based Cherry Classics Music has published the Complete Trumpet Excerpt Collection, which they describe as “a new major addition to the Trumpet orchestral literature”.

This CD-Rom offers over 1,300 pages of original orchestral trumpet parts, compiled by Gordon Cherry, Principal Trombonist of the Vancouver Symphony. Featuring many of the major works from the orchestral literature, the collection contains many important audition passages in their original format. For $29.00 plus shipping you get all of the Mahler Symphonies, plus many more significant orchestral works: one of the links below leads to the list of contents for this collection.

Gordon Cherry continues, “This Collection is a must for the serious orchestral performer. Over 1,300 of the Low Brass Collection have been sold with enthusiastic response and endorsements from teachers, performers and students. Once registered the owner receives free annual updates of new material. This revolutionary idea gives free music every year for as long as we find more music. The Low Brass edition is now over 7,000 pages and has expanded by over 30% in 3 years. No other music company can do this for you.”

The CD-ROM can be ordered at the web site listed below. Payment methods include VISA/MasterCard (secure site), PayPal, money order and personal checks.
