Neil Flory and Mary Thornton

Dr. Mary Thornton and the Del Mar College Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Paul Bissell, presented the première of Four Pieces for Trumpet and Percussion by Dr. Neil Flory. The event took place at Wolfe Recital Hall on the Del Mar College Campus in Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 30, 2005. This highly energetic, thoughtful piece employs a chromatic tonal language with intense rhythmic underpinnings.
