The First International Trumpet Competition "Theo Charlier" will be held in Brussels, Belgium from October 30 to November 6, 2005. The organiser Dominique Bodart has cast an impressive list of jury members: chaired by M. Willi Claes, the jury will include trumpet players Gabriele Cassone, Reinhold Friedrich, Fred Mills, Pasi Pirinen, Guy Touvron, and composer Jan van Der Roost. The competition is open to trumpet players from every country, born after 29th October 1975. The deadline for registration is 31st July 2005.
