Department of Music – Assistant Professor, Tenure Track.  Seeking candidates specializing in brass performance (trumpet preferred) and conducting. Primary responsibilities will be studio instruction of high and low brass and direction of the CSB/SJU Wind Ensemble.  Additionally, as needed, the candidate will conduct the CSB/SJU Brass Choir, coach chamber brass ensembles, teach instrumental conducting and brass methods, and perform in the faculty ensemble PASTICHE.  Ability to teach other related courses of interest is welcomed.  The ideal candidate will have a DMA in brass performance (trumpet preferred) and extensive conducting experience.
