On September 8th, 2004, Alan Siebert visited East Tennessee State University. Siebert, associate professor of trumpet at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, was invited by Dr. David Champouillon to present a recital/lecture/master class.

Mr. Siebert, accompanied by Ms. Jeri Paolini (ETSU faculty and former accompanist at Julliard), performed Legend (Enesco), Concerto for Two Trumpets in C (Vivaldi) with Champouillon, and I Remember (Wilson). His master class and lecture included a discussion of career aspects and working with ETSU students.

Siebert’s high level of musicianship, combined with an uplifting personality, helped to motivate students for the upcoming year and in their careers by showing his dedication to musical performance.
