Douglas Wilson

Douglas Wilson has been appointed the moderator for the "Ask the Teacher" section of the ITG's Youth Site. This section uses a Q&A format to deal with queries sent in by users of the Youth site.

Trumpet soloist, clinician, church musician, and music educator - Wilson has performed for audiences throughout the United States and the Caribbean, including recent performances at the International Trumpet Guild Conference and the National Trumpet Competition.

A skilled musician in both Church and Secular music, Douglas Wilson has performed with, Solisti New York, the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival Orchestra, Tulsa Philharmonic, the Tulsa Ballet Theatre Orchestra, and the Signature Symphony.

As an educator Dr. Wilson has taught at all levels of public school and university, most recently serving on the faculty at Oral Roberts University as Assistant Professor of Trumpet and as Director of Winds and Percussion.
