Valery Posvaliuk, president of the Ukrainian Guild of Professional Trumpeters and active ITG member, has just made a new CD, "Concert Compositions for Trumpet and Piano," with pianist Natalya Romenska.

It features not only well-known Baroque and modern works by Western composers such as Telemann, Viviani, Gabrielli, Herbert Clarke, Barat, Leroy Anderson, Arban-Howarth, and Bozza, but also interesting compositions by Eastern Europeans such as Lysenko, Arutiunian, Kolodub, Svirsky, and Zubtsov.

The CDs are available from Spaeth and Schmid (Nagold, Germany) and Rainer Egger (Basel, Switzerland).
