The National Trumpet Competition was held March 13-16, 2003
on the campus of George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. Competition
in 9 divisions was held over the course of the 4-day event, which
included master class opportunities for all participants with guest
artists Bud Herseth and Allen Vizzutti, and performances by Mr.
Vizzutti and Carl Fischer and the Organic Groove Ensemble.
The Artist Faculty for the competition also performed on the Opening
Ceremonies concert. Exhibits of trumpet merchandise and trumpet
related materials were also presented by a large number of vendors.

2004 on the campus of George Mason University. Deadline for tape
