Important Announcement concerning the 2005 ITG Composition Contest

In the October 2003 ITG Journal and in early versions of the rules PDF and the competitions page on the ITG web site, the instrumentation for the 2005 ITG Composition Contest was wrongly given as: Solo Trumpet and Trumpet Ensemble (nine to fourteen players with optional percussion).

The CORRECT instrumentation is: Solo Trumpet and Brass Ensemble (nine to fourteen players with optional percussion). All other contest rules are correct.

Please note: This correction applies to the 2005 rules only. The rules for 2004 as already published are correct and not subject to this change.
