Gregory Wing
Gregory H. Wing has been appointed Assistant Professor of Music and Teacher of Trumpet. A native of Covington, Kentucky, he holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Morehead State University, and a Master of Music degree in Trumpet Performance from the School of Music at Indiana University.

Mr. Wing was an Assistant Instructor of Trumpet at Indiana University under Professor William Adam, and has also been an Instructor of Trumpet for the Nevada School of the Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada. Wing's lead trumpet credentials are vast, having occupied that position with the Buddy Rich Big Band, Paul Anka, and four years with singer Tom Jones.

In addition, Mr. Wing has played lead trumpet for Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas Hilton, Flamingo Hilton, and Stardust Hotels’ house orchestras. Greg has also played for virtually every major entertainer in the world, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, and Natalie Cole, to mention a few. On the classical side of the spectrum, Greg played extra with the Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra, the Las Vegas Brass Quintet, and the Nevada Wind Ensemble.

He has also been a studio musician for Westwind Musical Productions of Upland, CA since 1988, and has recorded numerous commercials, and convention soundtracks (including both 2001 and 2002 National Homebuilders Association shows featuring Lee Greenwood, and our recent Winter Olympics themes). Mr. Wing has had a long association with the Selmer Corporation as an Artist/Clinician for Vincent Bach Trumpets.
