| The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) is pleased to announce, after an extensive international search, that international trumpet virtuoso Jens Lindemann has been offered the position of Professor with Distinction. As a former member of the Canadian Brass, winner of numerous international competitions, and acclaimed soloist, Jens has attained an esteemed reputation as one of the world's foremost trumpet players. Since joining UCLA in September 2001, Mr. Lindemann has created an innovative and exceptional trumpet and chamber music studio. Drawing on his extensive international performing and teaching experience, he has established an unique program that combines teaching methods from North American as well as the European Conservatory systems.
