The Canadian Brass: Ryan Anthony, Jeff Nelsen, Josef Burgstaller, Gene Watts, Chuck Daellenbach
The Canadian Brass has announced that soloist Josef Burgstaller has been asked to join their ensemble. Joe is well known in the trumpet fraternity, most recently touring the "Rafael Méndez Project," a concert attraction that he created. Prior to this he played several years in the New York based Meridian Arts Ensemble, and before that was actively involved in the Summit Brass organization with his teacher David R. Hickman.

Spokesman for the Brass Chuck Daellenbach stated, "Not only do we feel Joe has the abilities needed to partner at the level of our other trumpet virtuoso Ryan Anthony and see that he has the experience to jump into an ensemble operating at full speed, he also exhibits the personality and drive needed to join in our Canadian Brass 'mission'."

More information regarding Burgstaller's appointment is on the Canadian Brass web site: www.canadianbrass.com
