ITG Sponsor-A-Trumpeter Program	July 9 00

The Sponsor-A-Trumpeter (SAT) program, created over 10 years ago, encourages ITG members to pay yearly memberships for fellow trumpet players whose economic situations prevent them from joining ITG. Originally aimed at trumpeters in former Eastern Bloc countries, the program now includes every country in the world. Names of potential recipients should be forwarded to ITG from members who are aware of people who would benefit from this program. There are currently 69 members supported by the Sponsor-A-Trumpeter Program. Sponsors may designate a particular individual or a person will be assigned by the SAT coordinator Generally, a sponsorship is ongoing and is renewed on an annual basis. Please note that the SAT Program and the Gift Membership, which is a one-time donation, are separate programs.
