Two months ago, the Symphonic Wind Orchestra of the Croatian Army performed Fanfare for St. John's Knights for brass ensemble including percussion, 2 tubas, 4 trombones, 4 horns and 14 trumpets by Richard Strauss.

The Fanfare was performed two times under the hand of the young conductor Mladen Tarbuk. The audience was very favorably impressed by the sound of brass and by their reaction they would like to hear more performances which include brass ensembles.

The ensemble contained many young trumpet players, all between 18 and 29. Mr. Dario Teskera, principal trumpet of the Symphonic Wind Orchestra, performed admirably on first trumpet.
