Prominent Los Angeles trumpeter Charlie Davis visited the campus of the University of Nevada/Las Vegas recently, a guest of UNLV Professor of Trumpet Walt Blanton. While at UNLV, Davis gave several masterclasses with performing ensembles, taught private lessons, and appeared as soloist with the UNLV Jazz Band.
