Albert L. Lilly III has been appointed ITG Web Site's Calendar Editor. Lilly received a BM from DePauw University and a MM from Butler University and is currently a doctoral candidate in trumpet at Indiana University. He has studied trumpet with Charles Gorham, Robert Grocock, Marvin Perry, William Adam, Bernard Adelstein, Dominic Spera, and Stephen Burns. Currently, he teachs 40 private brass students, arranges for several Indiana marching bands, and serves as an instrumental music judge for the Indiana State School Music Association, for whom he is a member of the required brass music review committee. Lilly is a music judge with Central States Judges Association, adjudicating marching band competitions. He has been active as a freelance musician and has performed on CBS and ESPN television and National Public Radio. He appears frequently as a soloist and clinician. Lilly is the founder, music director, arranger, and a performer with Centennial Brass.
