| The eighth Ionian Summer Music Academy Melos Brass Seminar took place from July 17-23, 2010 on the Greek island of Corfu. The week long festival brought together brass players from around the world for a series of classes and concerts. Trumpet faculty for the seminar this year were Dr. Gregory Jones from Truman State University, Sokratis Anthis and Panayotis Kessaris from the Melos Brass, and Giorgos Laskarides, Ionnis Karabetzos and Spiros Arkoudis performing with the Aeolos Brass from Thessoliniki.
