Kaderabek with Emory & Henry College students

Former principal trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Frank Kaderabek, was in residence at Emory & Henry College in Emory, VA, April 6-9. During the visit he presented masterclasses with the trumpet ensemble and brass ensemble as well as lessons with the members of the trumpet studio. At the end of the visit, Kaderabek presented a recital with Matthew Frederick, associate professor of trumpet at Emory & Henry College. On the recital Kaderabek performed Goedicke’s Concert Etude, Saint-Saens’ My Heart at they Sweet Voice, Arutunian’s Concerto for Trumpet, and the duet, The Friendly Rivals.
