Christopher Wilson named Yamaha Performing Artist/Clinician

Dr. Christopher Wilson recently signed on with the Yamaha Corporation of America as a Yamaha Performing Artist/Clinician. He is in his first year as Assistant Professor of Trumpet at Arkansas State University after spending the previous eight years in The United States Air Force Band in Washington DC . Wilson has performed and taught clinics throughout the United States and Japan including performances for numerous dignitaries including George W. Bush and Barrack Obama. Additionally, Wilson has performed with the Annapolis Symphony, Alexandria Symphony, Maryland Symphony, Concert Artists of Baltimore, North Arkansas Symphony, and the Memphis Symphony. He holds a DMA from The Catholic University of America, Washington DC and BM and MM Degrees from the University of Arkansas, and his former teachers include Wiff Rudd, Steve Hendrickson, Charles Daval, and Robert Bright.
