Bernard Nero, former Principal Trumpet of the Austin Symphony Orchestra and Austin Lyric Opera, was a guest lecturer at Pittsburg State University, Kansas, on April 26 and 27. Nero presented a master class focused on the finer points of trumpet performance and the demands of working as a prinicpal trumpeter. He also served as a judge for the South East Kansas Symphony's Concerto Competition.
