AUSTIN, TEXAS–October 28, 2008 – Musicians and brothers, Harry and Ken Watters, have signed on as artists and clinicians for Jupiter. Playing the trombone and trumpet, respectively, the Watters brothers are key educators who will provide clinics at schools and universities with a portion of their fee paid by Jupiter through the artist program. He performs with The U.S. Army Brass Quintet and The U.S. Army Blues Jazz Ensemble, both in Washington, DC. Harry plays a XO Model 1032L trombone.
Ken currently performs with the Natalie Cole Band and the French Caribbean band, Tabou Combo. He is also a member of the house horn section for legendary producer Dallas Austin's Atlanta-based production studios and stays quite active as a freelance jazz, commercial & classical trumpeter. Ken plays an XO Model 1604 (large bore) trumpet.
