Trumpeter Mark Dulin gave the North American premiere of Dimitri Shostakovich's music from the film "Podrugi" with the Emerson String Quartet and Pianist Christina Dahl on October 4th, 2008.  The premiere took place on a gala concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Staller Center for the Arts in Stony Brook, New York.
