Denver Dill at the Rose Theater

On Saturday, February 2nd, 2008, the Equinox Duo (Denver Dill, trumpet, and Rebecca Wilt, piano) performed for the New York Philharmonic's Day of Berio celebration. Equinox performed the riveting Sequenza X for Trumpet in C and Piano Resonance at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater.

The concert included performances of all 14 of Luciano Berio's Sequenzas for various solo instruments; performed by various members of the New York Philharmonic and other guest artists. It was a wonderful homage to the life of one of the 20th Century’s most influential composers.  The New York Philharmonic Orchestra concluded the day-long celebration, to a very receptive audience, with a performance of the composer's famed Sinfonia.  For more information on Equinox, please visit their website.
