The 2015 Bert Truax School of Trumpet Camp will take place in Dallas, Texas (USA) June 8-13, 2015. Guest artists include jazz great Marvin Stamm with piano legend Bill Mays, Hollywood recording artist, Jon Lewis, world-renowned solo artist Rex Richardson, and extraordinary lead trumpet player, Joey Tartell.

The camp features master classes, faculty recitals, student trumpet ensembles, and the ever-popular concert series that highlights world-class trumpet performances.

Camp host, Bert Truax, former member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Dallas Symphony Orchestra will present a daily session on warm-up and trumpet fundamentals based on the teachings of James Stamp. Truax was a long-time student of Stamp and has presented master classes on Stamp’s teachings across the country.

 Players of all ages are welcome.
