Conference Coverage Team
Web Site Production Team
Special thanks go out to the ITG Web Site production team. Conference host Joseph Bowman did an outstanding job of providing an excellent work environment for everyone involved in this effort. Michael Anderson, ITG Web Site Director, was the project coordinator and administrates the ITG Web Site. Gary Mortenson, ITG Publications Editor, was responsible for on-site editing. Vera Hørven coordinated all digital photography at the 2005 conference.

The principal 2005 ITG Conference digital photographer for the ITG Journal and the ITG Web Site was Vera Hørven, member of the ITG Board of Directors. Michael Anderson and James Olcott provided additional photographic images.

2005 Conference Reporters
Kari Brooks is a junior performance major at Kansas State University where she studies with Gary Mortenson. Kari performed with the KSU Brass Quintet at the 2004 ITG Conference in Denver and at the Haus Marteau Brass Workshop in Germany. She was awarded an Outstanding Soloist Award at the 2005 Wichita Jazz Festival.
Scott Brown is working on his masters degree at Oklahoma City University where he studies with Michael Anderson. Scott received has bachelors degree in performance from Kansas State University where he studied with Gary Mortenson. Scott is a recipient of a 2005 ITG Student Scholarship.
Kevin Eisensmith is professor of music at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he teaches trumpet, jazz ensemble, and directs the trumpet ensemble. He is currently serving as ITGs Secretary. An active clinician and performer, Kevin also serves as principal trumpet with the Johnstown Symphony.
John Irish is professor of music at Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas. He directs the trumpet studio and maintains an active performance presence in brass quintet, orchestra, and jazz combo genres. He is a frequent contributor to the ITG Journal.
Gary Mortenson is professor of music at Kansas State University where he teaches trumpet, brass ensemble, and serves as chair of graduate studies in music. He is currently in his fifth year as Publications Editor for ITG.
James Olcott is professor of music at Miami University where he teaches trumpet and directs the jazz program. He is the founder and owner of Triplo Press, and is also the founder and music director of the Cincinnati Herald Trumpet Ensemble. Olcott is an ITG Award of Merit recipient for 2005.
Neville Young works with computers at a medical college in London. He has a music degree from the University of Manchester and has studied trumpet with Michael Laird, John Gracie, and Alan Stringer. He continues to maintain a freelance career in London and serves as the News Editor for the ITG Journal.
