Row after row of trumpets, music, mutes, mouthpieces, recordings, and an impressive variety of accessories were filled with trumpeters at the 2003 ITG conference. With over 50 exhibitors filling eight separate display rooms, the conference attendees were treated to one of the biggest selections of trumpets and accessories assembled in one place. International in flavor, vendors from France, Germany, Brazil, England, and Canada added to the many American companies represented at this years gathering.
The latest innovations in trumpet manufacture, acoustic design, breathing/breath exercisers, and embouchure builders were available to try-out along with the newest mutes, mouthpieces, cases, not to mention the hottest music publications right off the press. We all walked away with lighter wallets but heavier cases; I know many of us did our part to help invigorate the economy!
One of the most valuable aspects of the annual ITG conference is the ability to visit the numerous exhibits displayed throughout the conference. We are truly fortunate to have the high number of exhibitors who support the ITG through their attendance. Its great to be able to see, hear, and play many of the items that can help make our trumpet experience better or easier. Heres to more shopping at next years conference exhibits too bad I cant delay my charge card bill until then!
