Whether it was finding that mouthpiece to help play like Maynard Ferguson or that trumpet to help you sound like Adolph Herseth it probably could be found (or at least many had fun trying) at one of the many exhibitor booths making up the trade village. Short on valve oil? Looking for music for your next recital or something new to play at church? How about new teaching materials or music for your trumpet ensemble, brass quintet or brass band? It was all available at the Trade Village. Spread out throughout the wonderful facilities at the Royal Northern College of Music were a large collection of exhibitors from Europe and the United State selling everything a trumpet player could possibly want or think of (and some things you probably havent thought of or didnt know you needed).
Now if they would create a booth to provide official ITG excuses to bring home to our wives, parents, girlfriends, boyfriends etc... on why we had to have that new mouthpiece, trumpet, natural trumpet, music, valve oil, valve caps...
