After a five-minute intermission, trumpet players from the audience joined the rhythm section. Omar Butler (New York, NY), Josh Aguiar (Bloomington, IN), and George Schwartz (Boca Raton, FL) took solo choruses on Billy's Bounce. The end of the tune featured all three soloists trading four measure solos, which drew an appreciative response from the audience. Next, Al Guralick (Vancouver, B.C.), Richard Boulger (Bronx, NY) and Mitch Martin (Virginia Beach, VA) soloed on All the Things You Are. The next tune, Blue Monk, featured Al Hood (Denver, CO), Tom Parmerter (Rochester, NY), and John Coulton (Bridgeman, Australia). Rounding out the evening, guest clinician Terell Stafford (New Jersey), joined John Sneider and Scott Holbert (Hanovor, MD) on Autumn Leaves.
